Intermediate Biometrics

CLASS SESSION: Monday, June 26, 2017-Thursday, August 10, 2017

General Information: The instructor will utilize Adobe Connect to offer live, online chat sessions throughout the semester.

On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information: Students may participate in one optional orientation session on Monday, June 26, 11am-12:00pm in Wardlaw College room 116.

Online Session Information: Students may participate in optional Q&A sessions, 11a.m. - 12:00pm on June 28, July 5, 10, 17 & 26 and August 2 & 7. Students may be present, either in person or online, for the orientation and Q&A sessions, or may view the sessions at a later time. USC Columbia students may attend sessions in Wardlaw College room 116. All other students will view classes via the Internet and may call in with questions during class. For students viewing the sessions live online, the Adobe Connect URL will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. Students viewing at a later time may visit the Web site at video.sc.edu; click on the appropriate college/school and then your class link to view sessions. High-speed Internet access is required for Adobe Connect.

Course Delivery Type: Web: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

(100% asynchronous - if course has any online or face-to-face meetings, live attendance will not be required. For any such sessions, there will be alternative ways to view or obtain the material covered).

Credit: 3 semester hours of graduate credit
