Introduction to Rehabilitation Research and Assessment
CLASS SESSION: Thursday, August 24, 2017-Friday, December 08, 2017
General Information: Course will be delivered by Web conferencing utilizing Adobe Connect and Blackboard. To facilitate in-class communication when using Adobe Connect, all on-line students will be required to have a working microphone. All Students must be present, either in person or online, for the class sessions on Wednesdays, 5:00 – 7:29pm. Students may attend classes in Medical Park 15 room B17; all other students may view classes via the Internet. For students viewing the class live online, the Adobe Connect URL will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information:
Students enrolled in Rehabilitation classes are required to attend in-person session(s) on Distance Education Weekend in Fall and Spring semesters and other lab time as designated by the professor. MRC students are required to attend the Annual Student Meeting Day in August.
Course Delivery Type: Over 50% Web Delivery: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc.
Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: Foundations underlying research and assessment methodologies and their application to counseling. Research design, program evaluation, ethical principles in research, the scholarly research process, and statistical software packages.
