Fundamentals of Psychiatric Rehabilitation
CLASS SESSION: Thursday, August 24, 2017-Friday, December 08, 2017
General Information: Course will be delivered by Web conferencing utilizing Adobe Connect and Blackboard. To facilitate in-class communication when using Adobe Connect, all students will be required to have a working microphone. All Students must be present online, for the class sessions on Wednesdays, 7:30 – 10:00 pm. The Adobe Connect URL will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
Course Delivery Type: Over 50% Web Delivery: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc.
Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: Overview of current community-centered approaches to rehabilitation of persons with severe long-term mental illness. Emphasis placed on community-living problems, such as housing, social adjustment, supportive services, and employment.
